Pregnancy doesn’t mean your Halloween life is over. Sure, you can’t wear those skimpy and extremely tight Halloween costumes you’ve had since college. But that doesn’t mean Halloween can’t be fun for you.
Get out and enjoy the Halloween festivities with your bump.
Before you start going through your closet, can I just say, don’t even bother?
In other words, there is no reason to squeeze your pregnant mama bits into the old costumes you wore at your normal weight. It ain’t gonna fit! and for a good reason, you’re growing a life.
Nevertheless, don’t worry you can still participate and enjoy the festivities in a Halloween costume just right for your growing belly. Here are a few fun ideas that some amazing and creative moms have pulled off to showcase their bumps.
Southern Beer Drinking Mama
I can’t with this one! It’s hilarious! I especially love the detail on the belly hair. That is to say, the hillbilly, beer belly look is definitely a fun one. Certainly, there are a few other moms recreating this look. However, this one is the best I’ve seen.
In this case, this momma looks stunning in this costume. Her depiction of a pregnant Mother Earth is so powerful. It’s worth pointing out that you don’t need to spend a fortune on a Halloween costume to make it spectacular. For example, this mom used items you probably have lying around your house already.
Gosh…I don’t know why this makes me hungry, but it does! Most importantly, it’s another great budget costume idea that doesn’t require a great deal of time. Notably, it’s creative and provides a cute way to show off the bump. Not to mention, you can twin it with your partner.
Bun in the oven
I couldn’t resist adding this one. That little lobster is the cutest! This mom synced her bun in the oven look with her family. In the same fashion, make your Halloween outing a family filled one. Try to find costumes with the same theme. Secondly, Let your other children join in on the costume creation fun.
Not our usually dashingly handsome, god of lightning. However, this momma paid a tribute to his beer belly days from the last Avengers movie.
Indeed, this is one of my favorite Halloween costumes for pregnancy. It’s simple, yet unique. The colors really catch your eye. Not to mention, it’s budget-friendly. Yabba Dabba Doo!

👻 35 Weeks Pregnant 👻 . !!!!!Yabba Dabba Doo!!!!!! . It’s my favorite holiday HALLOWEEN! Have a safe and Happy Halloween everyone! . 👶🏽 BABY IS MAKING ME FURRY LIKE A WOOLLY MAMMOTH – My body has never been shy about producing unwanted hair. My eyebrows grow long and bushy, my mustache comes in nice and thick 🤦🏼♀️. I would even find a few chin hairs through out the month. But I never complained because I knew how blessed I was that I could shave my legs and my hair would come back in about two weeks. So, I could handle that! . But pregnant me 😳….. I am sprouting chin hairs like there is a world wide shortage and I am the one to save us!!! My mustache now needs tending to every two weeks instead of every two months! My dog and I are officially competing for who has the furriest belly! My eyebrows… I stopped trying to catch up with them. (Thank goodness for the natural look being back in style) And my legs…. I shave now and in a day or 2 two they look like I never touched them! And those suckers are hard to reach! . So…. Thank you baby! Your cuteness is going to payoff, I know it! But until I get to meet you, I will be actively participating in No Shave November! 😂🤷🏼♀️ #noshame
A Wrecking Ball
A preggo mama’s tribute costume to Miley Cyrus’s song, “Wrecking Ball”. Gotta love the half-naked barbie hanging from her chain.
Moreover, If you’re a Star Wars fan then this is for you. This is adorable and very creative! If you have time on your hands, you can definitely recreate this look.
Along with the bump, showcase your upbeat and energetic attitude in this costume. I’m getting happy just looking at this picture. I feel like Branch right now cracking a smile…Ok, seriously, it’s the troll effect.
Even though there are a few Madame Maries out there, I think this mom does it best. Her scarf and hat add just the right hint of gypsy flair.
Ultimately, finding the perfect Halloween costume for your growing body can be a challenge. However, regardless there are many ideas that will fit perfectly and allow you to show off your baby bump. Check out some of my other posts.
